Common questions before deployment

How fast can I connect after paying? What is the core difference between daily and monthly billing?
After payment is confirmed, the system fully automates node assignment—usually within5 minutesyou receive credential email with no manual steps. On billing models: daily billing is aone-time charge; when it expires the node is released automatically with no further invoices—good for short evaluations or ad hoc work. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans arerolling subscriptionsthat auto-charge before each period ends; you can cancel the next period anytime in the console, and the current paid period runs through its end date.
Do I get full root? Can I install Xcode and CI tools freely?
Yes—you get a bare-metal macOS machine withfull root accesswith no virtualization layer or permission sandbox. Xcode, iOS Simulator, Instruments, Fastlane, Homebrew, Docker (Rosetta), and similar tools install freely; behavior matches a Mac on your desk, so CI/CD scripts migrate directly.
All five city nodes share the same specs—how do I pick the best one?
Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, and US East nodes haveidentical hardware and pricing; only geography differs. Guidance: if users or test devices cluster in East Asia, prefer Tokyo or Seoul; Southeast Asia → Singapore; Greater China teams → Hong Kong; North America → US East. You can also try daily billing in multiple regions for latency, then commit to a subscription.
Are there hidden fees? What happens to the node and data after I cancel?
The invoice only includes what you selected in the configurator, with no extra fees—no bandwidth overage, activation fees, or minimum spend. After you cancel, the nodekeeps running normallythrough the end of the paid period; after expiry the node is reclaimed and data is securely erased. Back up your work before expiry.
How much bandwidth does Thunderbolt 5 interconnect provide, and which workloads benefit most?
TB5 cluster interconnect uses Thunderbolt 5 between multiple Mac mini systems to build aphysical link up to 80 Gbps Use cases: distributed Xcode build farms, multi-node parallel rendering, large-file sync across machines, and low-latency CI/CD that talks between nodes. Skip this if you only need a single standalone dev or build machine.
